October’s drama line-up is stacked with big names. Here are the seven I would put on your list, with the channel and slot where we know it.
1. Mitti De Baway (Green Entertainment)
Mahira Khan and Wahaj Ali together, in a sweeping relationship drama set in rural Punjab. Written by Faiza Iftikhar and directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain. It premiered on 23 September and airs Wednesday and Thursday at 8pm.
2. Kafeel (ARY Digital)
Sanam Saeed and Emmad Irfani in a social drama about control and emotional dependence: one powerful man and everyone who relies on him. Directed by Syed Meesam Naqvi, on Monday and Tuesday at 8pm.
3. Dekh Zara Pyaar Se (Hum TV)
Yumna Zaidi and Hamza Sohail in a gentle love story about two people shaped by loss and guarded hearts. Written by Saima Akram Chaudhry.
4. Muamma (Hum TV)

5. Shar Pasand (ARY Digital)
Nauman Ijaz, Hareem Farooq, Hira Mani and Affan Waheed in a story about a woman balancing society’s expectations with her own choices across class lines. Directed by Aehsun Talish.
6. Aik Aur Pakeezah (Geo Entertainment)
Sehar Khan leads a timely drama about cybercrime and online privacy, and how fast a reputation can be destroyed on the internet.
7. Maa (Green Entertainment)
Aina Asif plays Raaha, a young girl who uncovers the truth about her birth and family.
Which one first?
If you only have time for one, start with Mitti De Baway for the star pairing, or Muamma if you want a thriller. Tell us which one you’re watching.
